Halfway to Departure

On Thursday (well it was actually Wednesday…we were supposed to leave at midnight Wed. but my husband wakes me up at 10:00pm after about an hour and a half sleep and says “let’s go”…I’ve been tired ever since and I don’t even have to do the driving) we ran away from home.

This morning, I woke up grumpy. Or maybe I should say I was woken up, and discovered I was grumpy. Either way, the results are the same. I am grumpy.
 
My husband came home from work early…he says not, but it was. He always says he gets off at 7:00, but he’s never home til 9:00 [...]

It’s Over….and…It’s Begun

Well, it’s over. Another Halloween has come and gone. It brought with it a relief (likely it will be short-lived, but it was welcome) from the freezing temperatures -kids were able to go trick-or-treating without wearing winter snowsuits.
